2010年5月，在时任广西壮族自治区人民政府马飚主席的亲自关怀和指导下，广西民族大学东盟学院正式成立。原外交部长李肇星担任学院名誉院长，广西民族大学校长谢尚果教授兼任学院院长，教育部人文社科委员会委员兼国际问题研究学部召集人、中国东南亚学会会长、厦门大学特聘教授庄国土兼任学术副院长。

 学院的设立，是为了适应广西北部湾经济区开放开发、中国—东盟自由贸易区建设的需要，服务国家战略，积极开展东盟学术研究和政策及信息咨询服务，推进广西及我国与东盟国家的国际交流以及民族地区外向型经济的发展，培养面向东盟社会经济各领域的国际化专门人才，发挥广西在国家面向东盟开放的前沿和窗口作用。东盟学院定位于学术研究型政府培育学院，发展目标是致力于建构学术理念、创设学术流派、追求学术个性、打造学术品牌、培养学术队伍，建设成为学科综合、管理先进、 水平一流、富于活力并可持续发展的集学术研究、人才培养、国际交流、政策咨询和信息服务为一体的国家级东盟研究基地，以学术服务于国家和社会，为中国—东盟关系的全面发展、为中国东盟学国际地位与影响力的提升做出贡献。

    学院现有“国际关系”“东盟研究”“国别和区域研究”等三个二级学科硕士学位授权点，正在进行“世界史”一级学科硕士点、“国际关系”“国别和区域研究”二级学科博士点的建设。经过十年的发展，东盟学院构建了比较完整的科研平台。先后获批广西科学实验中心、第二批广西高端智库建设培育单位（中国—东盟研究中心）、教育部国别与区域研究基地（东盟研究中心）等2个省部级科研平台；成立了中国—东盟平等发展研究中心、中国—东盟命运共同体研究中心、中国—东盟数字文化研究院、中国—东盟金融创新发展研究院、中国—东盟地区安全与反恐战略研究院、中国—东盟海上安全研究中心、东盟国家公共政策研究院、中国—东盟文化旅游研究院等8个校级科研平台，印尼研究所、马来西亚研究所、菲律宾研究所、泰国研究所、新加坡研究所、文莱研究所、柬埔寨研究所、老挝研究所、缅甸研究所、越南研究所和“一带一路”国际产能合作研究所等11个院级科研平台。

学院坚持高起点、高水平的建设原则，聚集国内外一流东盟学专家，建设高水平研究团队，打造一流研究平台，产出高水平研究成果；坚持承接发展的原则，以东盟研究为主体，以学术研究带动人才培养、国际交流和咨询服务，与学校现有的教学型和教学研究型为主的各学院相互支撑，培养高层次研究型人才；坚持开放合作的原则，与国内外政府、高校、科研机构等全方位合作，“政、学、研、用”相结合，不断拓展东盟研究领域；坚持机制体制创新的原则，形成队伍建设、学术研究与服务以及人才培养创新的机制体制。

（一）招聘对象与招聘方式

所列岗位面向全球招聘专职和兼职研究人员，专职研究人员招聘按照广西民族大学相关人才引进文件与通知执行。

兼职研究人员面向非广西民族大学东盟学院的校内外、国内外招聘，非全职引进。其中，岗位所列正职原则上要求具有博士学位和正高级职称或正处级及以上岗位经历；副职原则上要求具有博士学位和副高级职称或副处级及以上岗位经历；兼职研究员原则上要求具有博士学位或高级职称或在相关领域具有丰富的实践或研究经历。兼职研究人员年龄不受限制，只要身体条件允许均可应聘。

Global Recruitment of College of ASEAN Studies, Guangxi 

University for Nationalities

In May 2010, College of ASEAN Studies (CAS), Guangxi University for Nationalities (GXUN) was established under the direct leadership and guidance of Ma Biao, the then chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Li Zhaoxing, former Foreign Minister of China, is the Honorary Dean of CAS. President of GXUN Professor Xie Shangguo is concurrently the Dean of CAS. Professor Zhuang Guotu, Member of the Humanities and Social Sciences Committee of the Ministry of Education and concurrently Convener of the committee of International Studies, President of the Southeast Asian Association of China, and distinguished professor of Xiamen University, serves concurrently as the Deputy Academic Dean.

The establishment of the CAS is to meet the needs of the opening and development of Guangxi’s Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, to serve national strategies, actively carry out ASEAN academic research, policy and information consulting services, to promote the international exchanges of Guangxi, China and ASEAN countries and the development of export-oriented economy in ethnic regions, to cultivate international professionals in various fields of ASEAN society and economy, and to give full play to Guangxi’s role as a frontier and window of the country’s opening to ASEAN. The CAS is positioned as an academic research-oriented government cultivation college, and its development goal is to devote itself to constructing academic ideas, creating academic schools, pursuing academic personality, building academic brands, training academic teams, and building it into a national-level ASEAN research base integrating academic research, talent cultivation, international exchanges, policy consultation and information services with comprehensive disciplines, advanced management, first-class level, full of vitality and sustainable development, serving the country and society with academics and to contribute to the all-round development of China-ASEAN relations and the promotion of the international status and influence of China-ASEAN Studies.

The college currently has three second-level discipline of master’s degree authorized units, including “International Relations”, “ASEAN Studies”, and “Country and Regional Studies”. The construction of the first-level discipline of "World History" master's degree authorized unit and the second-level disciplines of doctoral authorized units of "International Relations" and "Country and Regional Studies" is underway. After 10 years of development, CAS has built a relatively complete scientific research platform. It has successively been approved as the Guangxi Science Experiment Center, the second batch of High-Level Think Tank Construction and Cultivation Units of Guangxi( Center for China-ASEAN Studies), and the Country and Regional Research Base of the Ministry of Education of China (CAS), 2 provincial and ministerial-level of scientific research platforms. Established 8 school-level research platforms including Research Center for China-ASEAN Social Equality Development, Research Center for China-ASEAN Community of Destiny, Research Institute for China-ASEAN Digital Culture, Research Institute for China-ASEAN Financial Innovation and Development, Research Institute for China-ASEAN Regional Security and Counter-Terrorism Strategy, China-ASEAN Maritime Security Research Center, Research Institute for China-ASEAN National Public Policy, Research Institute for China-ASEAN Cultural Tourism. And 11 college-level scientific research platforms including Institute for Indonesia Studies , Institute for Thailand Studies, Institute for Vietnam Studies , Institute for Laos Studies, Institute for Singapore Studies, Institute for Philippines Studies, Institute for Malaysia Studies, Institute for Brunei Studies, Institute for Myanmar Studies, Institute for Cambodia Studies, Institute for “One Belt and One Road” International Capacity Cooperation Studies.

Recruitment instructions:

(1) Recruitment target and recruitment method

The recruit positions above mentioned are for global recruitment of full-time and part-time researchers. The recruitment of full-time researchers is implemented in accordance with relevant documents and notices on personnel introduction of GXUN.

Part-time researchers are recruited from inside and outside of GXUN, and at home and abroad. Among the recruit positions above mentioned, the Chief position requires a doctoral degree and senior professional title or with experience as leading roles of divisions or equivalents at the department level or above in principle; the Deputy position requires a doctoral degree and associate senior professional title or with experience as assisting roles of divisions or equivalents at the deputy department level or above in principle. Part-time researcher requires doctoral degree or senior professional title or with rich practical or research experience in related fields in principle. Part-time researchers are not restricted by age, and they can apply as long as their physical conditions permit.

(2) Responsibilities of part-time researchers

1. Publish papers in the name of CAS, GXUN or with CAS, GXUN;

2. Submit policy consultation reports in the name of CAS, GXUN or with CAS, GXUN;

3. To lead or participate in the scientific research teams and the disciplines construction of CAS, GXUN;

4. Hold lectures for teachers and students of CAS, GXUN and participate in joint training of postgraduate students of CAS, GXUN.

(3) The college provides the following conditions for part-time researchers

1. Appointed by the university or college and issued an appointment certificate;

2. Provide necessary support for office and scientific research conditions;

3. Open all university and college materials, databases, and advice channels of policy consultation to part-time researchers;

4. Papers jointly published with CAS, GXUN or submitted the policy consultation report with affirmative approval shall be awarded in accordance with the methods and regulations of CAS or GXUN;

5. Priority will be given to being invited to participate in domestic and foreign academic conferences hosted or undertaken by CAS, GXUN. The travel and other expenses will be provided by CAS, and the academic lecture remuneration or expert consultation fee will be paid as appropriate;

6. Priority will be given to the bidding of scientific research projects of various scientific research platforms of CAS, GXUN;

7. Priority will be given to being invited to participate in the research visits activities to ASEAN countries organized by CAS, GXUN;

8. Other necessary scientific research conditions will be supported, one decision for one thing.
